Today, my friends and I decided to watch the sunrise on the beach. Back in September we tried to do the same thing, wake up at six in the morning, drive to the beach and watch as the sun creeps up from the horizon. When we tried last time the sky was overcast and we never got to actually see the sunrise. This time I was determined, so I chose a day that had a sunny forecast. I woke up at six in the morning and my friends and I drove down to the beach, stopping at Dunkin Donuts on our way. We got there just in time to witness the sun make its cheerful appearance. The lighting outside was to die for, so I couldn’t help taking a ton of photos. (I also brought my Polaroid camera, but alas it was out of battery.) The temperature outside was perfect, as the sun made it warm. We spent the next couple of hours watching surfers ride the rough waves.
I decided to wear a cozy outfit because I knew I wasn’t going to swim. I wore an oversized red sweater from Old Navy with a knit infinity scarf from Forever 21. I paired those items with black pants and black booties from Target. I accessorized with my new Pura Vida Bracelets. These bracelets are super easy to wear and throw on. I plan on wearing mine all the time because they stack really well with my watches and other bracelets. I chose to go for beachy colors with mine, but the website has so many to choose from. Every bracelet purchased helps provide full time jobs for local artisans in Costa Rica! They also have many charitable bracelets for you to choose from. These are the ones I am wearing:
